Biennial conferences of the SPP 1448
With reference to the research programme of the SPP 1448, the theme of the first biennial conference in 2012 will be “Significations and technologies”. The second conference 2014 will deal with “The production of order and disorder” and the third conference 2016 will concentrate on “Adaptation and Creativity in Africa".
Biennial thematic conference 2012 in Maputo
The first biennial thematic conference was held at the Centro Cultural Franco-Moçambicano in Maputo, Mozambique, as the inaugural conference of the SPP 1448 in October 2012.
Biennial thematic conference 2014 in Dakar
The second thematic conference was held from October 1 - 4, 2014 in Dakar, Senegal. It was organised in cooperation with the Council for the Development of Social Sciences in Africa (CODESRIA). Venue of the results conference was the Le Lamantin in Saly, 80 km in the South of Dakar.
Biennial thematic conference 2016 in Potsdam
The third thematic conference will be held from September 29 - October 2, 2016 in Potsdam. Venue of the conference is the Seminaris See Hotel in Potsdam. Please find here the official conference invitation and the conference programme.
