Thematic Workshops
Projects approved under the Priority Programme have the opportunity to apply for organising thematic workshops. These should follow the aim to integrate sub-themes or develop particular methodological approaches with neighbouring or like-minded projects. The number of workshops per year is two.
The first thematic workshop focused on key concepts of the SPP 1448 and was held in Berlin on December 2-3, 2011.
The second thematic workshop was held in Mainz on May 4-5, 2012. Dennis Galvan, Professor of International Studies and Political Science, spoke about his approach to Institutional Syncretism that outstandingly enriches the theoretical SPP.
The last thematic workshop took place in Berlin, May 9-11, 2014.
